Were your music tastes influenced by anyone?
My dad and mum are both massively into music, they introduced me to Bob Dylan who was my biggest influence at a young age. They were also big into people like Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Who. A lot of guitar music really which is why I picked it up in the first place. I still love listening to that old stuff. [Jay]
Who are your favourite musicians?
I am a big fan of John Mayer but if I was to pick my favourite musician, I’d have to say Bruce Springsteen, not just for being and incredible musician but because of what he means to so many people. [Miller]
If you had to listen to just one song for the rest of your life, what would you choose?
That’s a really hard question, it would have to be something big. Maybe Saturday Night’s Alright by Elton John, I heard it in a sound track to a film the other day and it’s a great song which makes me smile. [Jay]
What’s the best music festival you’ve attended?
2016, Truck Festival, perfect weather, perfect lineup! I also discovered loads of new bands. [Tyler]
What’s been your most embarrassing stage mishap?
Drinking water with Tyler’s gum in, I can say I wasn’t best pleased. [James]
Do you have any superstitions rituals before you play live?
We all sort of have a pre-show prayer where we get in a huddle and get in the zone and it always gets us really pumped up. [James]
What songs do you listen to when you need motivation?
I would have to say All Along The Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix it just makes me focus and push my playing to its limit. [Tyler]
What one song do you wish you wrote?
Merry Christmas Everybody by Slade, that would be retirement sorted. [James]
Which country would you love to tour in?
America would be awesome because it’s obviously a massive music scene and there are so many legendary places to play over there. [Tyler]
I’d have to go with America as well, so many great bands go, or are from there and I’ve never been so I would love to see what it’s all about. [Jay]
If you could go back in time and meet anyone from the past who would it be and why?
Maybe someone like Buddy Holly, he was one of the first to start playing rock n roll and was a big influence to guys like The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. I think I’d buy him a pint and let him know what he’d started. [Jay]
Where do you go to find inspiration?
I go home, I can’t really write anywhere else. [Jay]
What is your song of shame?
If I Were A Boy by Beyoncé [James]
That’s The Power Of Love, Huey Lewis and the News. [Tyler]
Probably something by Little Mix, everyone would take the mick, but they know how to make a tune. [Jay]
Defying Gravity from the musical, Wicked. [Miller]
